LASIK in Columbus Hi All,
Only 4 posts about LASIK in the history of this sub, so I thought I would ask again.
Where do you recommend for LASIK? I went to LasikPlus today and while they were super nice, I would like a couple of other opinions and or pricing.
Thanks in advance!

I'm in the process of selecting a provider as well. I've visited with Dr Beran at the [Columbus Laser and Cataract Center](http://www.columbuslaser.com/) and Dr Kelly at the [Arena Eye Surgeons](http://arenaeyesurgeons.com/). Personally, I liked my conversation with Dr Kelly better. But, his prices are higher for LASIK and he does not utilize the same laser technology as Dr Beran. edit - FWIW my optometrist said these are the only 2 doctors he would consider if he was personally able to have LASIK.
Need recommendations for a good LASIK surgeon in Columbus please and thanks. Insurance recommends LasikPlus.

The group of docs I worked for highly recommended John Stechshulte...Two of the docs had him do their eyes (pronounced steck-shul-tee)...He was part of the original group who worked with the FDA on lasik...228-4500...let me know if you need anything else.
Thinking about getting LASIK--Looking for local advice I'm thinking/planning on getting LASIK early next year, so I'm doing some research and would love feedback from any of you who have had the procedure done. Also, if you had it done locally, who did you see & would you recommend them?
I would also appreciate any $cost feedback you all may have. THANKS!!!

I had this done by [Dr Kelley](http://www.arenaeyesurgeons.com). They're more expensive than other options but I wanted the best for something so life changing. Totally worth it. After about 10 months now I still wake up and smile being able to see without lenses. I see halos at night (blurry rings around lights) but I'm still ecstatic about getting it done, considering. They don't limit my vision, they're just something you may or may not have to get used to.

I went to Dr Stechschulte at Arena Eye Surgeons. The whole experience was really great. Cost was $4600 which was a little on the high side, but worth it. The same doctor did the eyes of a number of famous local and national athletes, among others. http://www.arenaeyesurgeons.com/ Don't forget that you can use an FSA at work to pay for lasik!
Anyone in Bexley/ Cbus area recommend a good eye doctor?

Dr. Curtin Kelley at Arena Eye Surgeons is who did my LASIK after he did Brian's, Neil's, and a few others from the group. I think they do other eye stuff too. I really liked him. http://www.arenaeyesurgeons.com/.../doctors/curtinkelley

I just had surgery on both of my eyes within the last 3 yrs and I used Dr Pappa at the Arena Eye Surgeons in the Arena District. Your surgery, and all check ups are done on the same building!! It makes it reall convenient. I would def recommend him. There # is 614-228-4500 there the best in Ohio!!
Adrianna's vision is getting worse... we have been trying for months to get an appointment at the OSU optometry clinic and they will not call us back. Does anyone know of a good child optometrist?

Does it have to be a child optometrist? How old is she? We have an excellent Opthamologist --- Dr. Curtain Kelly in the Arena District on Neil Ave. Number 228-4500.
