However, I have bipolar disorder and would need someone to continue prescribing me the medication which keeps me stable. Does anyone know if there are any good, English-speaking psychiatrists in Okinawa? Or whether it is possible to be seen and prescribed medication through telehealth in Japan?   I went to Yamamoto Clinic when I was suffering major depression from a severe case of burnout a several years ago. He speaks English, was very professional, and he helped me a lot. I do remember it took a couple weeks to get in for the first appointment though, but after that, I had regular visits and the price was very reasonable for both the visits and the medication (I was on the Japanese health care system which covered some of it, but even without that, it still would have been affordable) https://goo.gl/maps/M8X99ACnnTNpUJJy8. http://www.yamamotoclinic.org/
