  Can someone tell me of a reputable auto repair shop that works on transmissions? I have a 1997 Toyota 4Runner and the transmission has been slipping. I have had my fluid checked and it was okay (at least that's what they said) am hoping it will not need a new one because I am on a fixed income and since my husband has been dead I am afraid of being taken advantage of.
