I told her I didn't want to go too ashy or too gold and that I understood it might take a couple appointments to get me more blonde in order to keep it healthy. My hair was in great shape. This is what happened. I never knew it was possible to have roots immediately after it was highlighted. The color is hideous. It looks like orange straw. It is not complimentary to my skin tone at all. Sections in the back were completely missed and I was told they were too short to highlight yet shorter hair next to it was highlighted. There is no consistency. There's now a line where my hair was grown out and the new highlights were done. She 'styled' my hair and didn't even dry all the sections. I'm so embarrassed to the point where I need to wear a hat. This is what $180 will get you. Do your research on the staff, Abelina, if you're blonde. The owner Jim was uninviting and, of course, annoyed that I complained. Overall terrible experience and it's going to take several months and a lot of money for someone else to fix this. She made excuses and insinuated this is what I asked for. I asked for my money back; did receive. They wanted to fix it but would you trust them? No. It shouldn't have been like this in the first place. I can't even look in the mirror without crying.
