  Best local mechanics/muffler shops? Hi friends! Recently moved to the Bradenton area and my car has a mystery rattle coming from underneath. I figure it’s the muffler or heat shield, but my car sits too low and I haven’t got a jack to get under it myself. I’d like to find someone to get under and diagnose it who’ll be honest and who won’t charge me an arm and a leg to look at it. Also, if it is just a muffler needing welded back on, any recommendations you might have for shops that can weld it back on for cheap are appreciated!

  Tom Wilson Auto Repair 5532 Palmer Blvd 941.371.5086 I’ve been taking my cars to Tom for more than 20 years. They are honest and that’s like finding a unicorn!
