Looking for a veterinarian to perform euthanasia for my financially-struggling sister's cat. My sister lives in low-income housing in the Tenderloin district. Her husband is a laid-off bus tour guide and she doesn't work due to severe health issues. She has a cat that she says has been sick and she believes is dying and may be suffering. She has asked me if I know of anyplace that would be able to perform euthanasia without incurring a huge expense. I do not live in the city and do not know any other details about the cat's status, but due to their problems I am trying to help.
Would anyone be able to recommend a place in San Francisco or the extended Bayarea where they could go?
Insights are appreciated.

https://www.sfanimalcare.org/services/humane-euthanasia/ https://phs-spca.org/euthanasia/ The San Francisco SPCA also offers financial assistance to low income residents. They just have to verify it. https://www.sfspca.org/vet-services/hospital/financial-assistance/

SF Animal Control offers euthanasia and they often waive the cost for low income residents. They’re offering limited services right now so you might have to check it out: https://www.sfanimalcare.org/services/humane-euthanasia/ So sorry your sister is going through this. One thing she may have to grapple with is that because of COVID, some facilities may not allow you to be with the pet... Unsure how this has changed now that things are opening back up.
