If I could give zero I would. Don't waste your time and money here. I feel like the $40 I spent went to charity and now I don't have a receipt for taxes, lol!
I brought in a summer cotton dress shown, it was hanging loosely on me and I wanted it at least a little bit more for fitted, not much but at least not loose on top. She, the so called tailor, said that if i get it taken in any more then she'll have to do the cotton slip underneath and the ruffle on top--big flipping whoop i thought, thats why you are charging me!!
If she tailored it then it must have been so insignificant that it looks the same.
At first she said pay up front, wtf? Then she says $45. I had a gut feeling she didn't know about tailoring clothes because there are drapes in the shop. I said 45 is too much, she said OK 40.
I returned a week later when she said it was ready and it wasn't!!! She said that she was pressing it and I told her not to bother because I'm going to wash it any way. She went in the back room and left me waiting. Such BS. She obviously doesn't know what tailoring is...stick to drapes or window hangings chica.
I stayed in the hills to promote business there and out of convenience of a drive to Scottsdale. She just pinned one side, thats not quite a tailoed look. She might be able to sew but NOT tailor.
The other reviews must be by relatives or good friend, as these reviews often accompany poor workmanship vendors or products or services in Fountain Hills.
Can anyone recommend an affordable and talented alteration person here in FH?
