Advice Please! Repost from Amanda Christianson
My 12 year old daughter has been having headaches often since she was 6, possibly younger and we just didn't realize it until she was 6. The nerologist has done an MRI, which was normal, but I hate the idea of using a daily prescription. He says she has migraines and she would start with one drug that causes this side effect so she can take this pill for that and then if that doesn't help then, we'll move on to this drug with this side effect and then there's this drug and so on, the drugs are antihistimines, beta blockers, anti-deppressants. I have already had her eyes tested, tried chiropractor and physical therapy(she complains of neck and ear pain with headaches), checked her teeth/jaw, we watch for food, environmental, sleep triggers, but honestly are not really sure or extremely careful. Anybody have any advice?
