Masonry Recommendations? Need tuck-pointing help. Hello, I have a 125 yo brick house and I need some tuck-pointing work done. I’ve reached out to about 10 companies I found via google and have heard back from two. Seems like they’re so in demand they don’t need to respond.
I’d really like to work with someone who wants to match the mortar and science of when the house was built rather than modern concrete mortar. Ideally someone who understands the history / historical value.
Would greatly appreciate any recommendations!

[https://www.limeworks.us/](https://www.limeworks.us/) This company sells lime-based mortar for use in historic brick. It comes in pre-mixed colors that you can use to match your mortar. I found a perfect color match for my house and am planning to order some soon to do some minor re-pointing work. I tried to hire someone but it seems like everybody in Columbus with a brick house is getting pointing work done, so... gonna try it myself!
