  Hey neighbors, does anyone know of someone who does face painting (or similar) for kids and would be willing to volunteer their time for a few hours? I'm hosting a give back night at Chili's in East Brunswick next Thursday October 11 from 4-9pm and looking for some sort of entertainment to entice families to come in and have something extra for their children to do while there. Ideally I would be looking for someone to donate their time since it's for a charity (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and any money paid would be coming out of my own pocket. However, I am open to any ideas and am willing to negotiate. Thanks!

  Can anyone recommend a local affordable place to have a simple gathering for children's birthdays? We would like to have one party for all 3 of our kids (their birthdays are all in the fall) but don't want to have it at a party place like Chuck E. Cheese since the guests would be mostly adults. Was thinking of renting a hall like Knights of Columbus or having it in a small room in a family restaurant like a pizzeria but cost is an issue. Just somewhere for our extended family & a few friends to gather, serve something basic like pizza & cake and maybe be able to hang a few simple decorations if possible. Any ideas?
