  9:15 UPDATE: The vet just called me Ella made it thru surgery, they said it went well and that they removed her large fluid filled uterus without any problems. Everything else inside and out look good and healthy so they see no problems having a smooth recovery!! my worst fear has been confirmed...My dog Ella has pyometra and requires emergency surgery to save her life. The estimate for an uncomplicated aurgery is $3,025....ive been denied by all pet payment financing plabs and I just paid $5000 in june for my other dog who had severe acute pancreatitis....anyone know of a vet who will either take payment for such a large estimate or who will charge a lot less??? Please help me, I dont know what to do.... Update: I'm pulling into coral springs animal hospital, its the closest and if the weather gets bad I have a safe place nearby to go to....any vet would charge as an ER visit so I'm screwed, wish us luck Anyone know any regular vets open today?? URGENT situation with my dog

  Seriously tell me the truth..I KNOW people could and sometimes do refer to me as the crazy dog lady....but lately almost every one who sees me in the car with the AA sign on it launches into the CATastrophes, their feral colonies, the cats that wander on to their property and had kittens that are now 4 months old and mom is PG again or their defiant kitties who pee and poop outside the box...OY...I can usually dog whisper half way decent and help...Cats are NOT my forte..somebody give me a name or a rescue I can refer the cat peeps too...PLEASE!!!!!!

  Thanks Mary Jo! The number is 407-920-4894...they are open Monday-Thursday. It's $50 to spay/neuter your kitty, also get a rabies/distemper vaccine in that cost! I volunteer there two times a week, it's right in Longwood. Fantastic service for all animals:)

  Kimberly; there are a number of local veterinarians who do neutering and spaying but the cheapest place we found requires a short drive up to Longwood. It is called: "Spay N Save" 988 North Ronald Reagan Boulevard, Longwood, FL 32750 (407) 920-4894 They have certain days when they do it 'en masse'. You drop the per off in the morning and pick it back up later in the afternoon. $50. They also do Feline Leukemia, FVRCP and Rabies shots at the same time for an extra $15. Pretty darned cheap for all you get compared to the bigger animal hospitals. [ Believe it or not, our current Animal Hospital for our babies is out in Windermere - The Animal Hospital of Windermere. I trust them explicitly, but bless their hearts, they aren't by any means inexpensive. ]

  We took our little male a while back up somewhere off of 17-92 in Seminole County to a Spay and Neuter clinic that was open on the weekend. I think this is the one: Spay n Save Animal Clinic 988 N. You drop them off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon.
