  Lawyer Recs I got ticket for failure to maintain during a rainstorm where I slid into another vehicle and ended up totaling my car, thank goodness there were no injuries. From my understanding a failure to maintain is a reckless ticket. I have nothing worst on my record than a few speeding, the last of which was almost 10 years ago).
