  Can anyone recommend a general practitioner comfortable with handling psychiatric issues? I’ve relocated to the area a few months ago and been having virtual appointments with my psychiatrist. Unfortunately, the time has come for me to find someone else. Former psychiatrist has recommended I find a GP, as I need a local doctor anyways and my meds are currently set and not likely to change. I’ve been burned before by GPs who didn’t handle talking about mental health or refilled prescriptions for psychiatric drugs and I’d like to avoid that if possible.
