Recommendation for further study Hi friends. I’ve been a massage therapist coming up on 10 years. My main focus has been sports, and deep tissue massage. As things are opening back up I would like to do some more training and would love some recommendations. What modalities or further training have you found useful? Thanks in advance!

Anatomist [Gil Hedley](https://www.gilhedley.com/) just redid pricing for his website with very affordable payment plans to earn CEUs. He really dives into the overall connectivity of the body and the fascial tissues. [Anatomy Trains](https://www.anatomytrains.com/) & [RockTape](https://www.rocktape.com/)* both pull from fascial research in their trainings and provide good information. *RockTape has become a little more product-heavy since they were bought out by Implus, but the research presented in the courses is still solid.
My daughter complains of some slight tendonitis in her wrist. She would like to get it taped with kinesiology tape. Does it take special expertise to tape it properly? Must I go to a dr. or chiropractor?

If you go to rocktape.com they have videos too. I would also have her roll out her forearms with a lacrosse ball, loosing up the tight muscles should give her some relief also.
Are there any massage therapist certified in Kinesio Taping? If so where did you get your training/certification from and would you recommend them? Also what do you charge for taping in your practice?

RockTape.com

Rocktape is the best by far. All will stick if applied properly. Feet with any tape a bit more difficult with sweat, but there are ways... Rocktape will give you discount once certified. Happy to answer any questions just shoot me a message. Good luck with your endeavors!

The scissors are somewhat of a scam...I bought a couple pair. Truly no difference from dollar store scissors, they still need to be sharpened... And if you drop them ugh. (I am clumsy) I do have other nice scissors, but when I have a class or travel to some events I work, or whatever...no chance I am taking the nice ones! Cheap works beautifully Kinesio Tape was great. Rocktape took me a lot further. There is 2 levels truly, all in one weekend. Quite affordable. Wonderful company to deal with.

Skip Kinesiotape association...go through Rocktape. I'm not feeling up to a huge debate about SOP....it is. Maybe not for insurance coverage but it is. Many people don't bother putting through insurance anymore. I have been taping and certified since 2005. Many courses. And teach as well.
