  Not sure if it's okay to request CE recommendations here, so please delete this post if not, but I am wondering if anyone knows of solid, up-to-date, online CE courses in HIPAA for massage therapists. (Not looking for general ethics courses, but specifically protecting health information.) I would like to scope out courses in order to recommend to my students. Thank you for any input!

  The changes to HIPAA are always outlined pretty clear a few year ahead. The latest thing is having to do risk analysis's so there are many companies like the healthypatients.net that are popping up to do that and to help companies implement HIPAA. It goes way beyond HIPAA also and there are many state privacy laws that are even more intense than HIPAA. If you take any client info - you are at risk with all the latest security issues like at Target etc.
