  I'll preface this by saying that I haven't been to either place in a while so idk how they're doing with covid-19 precautions and the like. Both pickup, Capitol Hill: Dumpling Tzar. If you've never had pelmeni (Russian dumplings, basically) I highly recommend it. You can't go wrong with the classic but I also loooove the razorback (bacon jam & sour cream). I always go with a meat filling with sour cream and plenty of curry powder. Again, I haven't been in a while so idk if the menu has changed and I can't get their website to load right now for some reason. Carmelos is amazing for tacos. So good. I don't even know what to recommend specifically; just get tacos at Carmelos. OH ALSO, Dumpling Tzar is right next to Rachel's Ginger Beer. So get a growler of ginger beer while you're there and make some bomb mules to have with your pels. I do Montana mules (whiskey, lime, ginger beer) and add a sprig of rosemary.
