Know how good you are NOT. Strive to improve, in THOSE AREAS FIRST. Greatness in the arts is EARNED, and not imagined. You don't walk into a club, tell people that you are great, and automatically become great. Greateness takes backbreaking work. PAY YOUR DUES.
