Are there any good massage therapists near campus? I’ll be moving to Vancouver for in-person this upcoming semester and have an RMT to deal with some lifelong injuries. Are there any good massage therapists near campus? I’m looking for someone that does deep tissue to the point where it starts to hurt, lol.

There is an excellent [Clinic](https://www.allanmcgavinphysio.com/) on campus. They treat a lot of sports-related injuries, but I went there for PT and RMT treatment when I had a non-sports-related injury. Staff there are outstanding. Edit - it’s the Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Clinic
Possibly Torn Muscle in the Gym. Any recommendation for a doc? Hey guys,
Just looking for a physiotherapist or some other doctor that specifically specializes in fitness related injuries.
Any recommendations?
I have a weird dull pain in my right arm along the triceps, whenever I put it behind my pack in sort of swing motion. It might be a tear, I don’t know.
This has been going on for 2 weeks and I completely skip the heavyweight training to let it heal, but the slight pain is still there.
Considering seeing a professional at this point.

The [Alan McGavin Sports Clinic](https://www.allanmcgavinphysio.com/) is excellent. They fixed my shoulder after a severe injury. Took about 6 months of therapy, but it’s been back to normal for about 6 years with no recurrence. Did physio, massage, electric stimulation and heat therapy along with exercises with tension bands and rolling balls.
recommended physiotherapists or sport doctors? Hello, I currently go to Richmond to see a physio about a lower back injury I sustained in kickboxing a little more than a year ago. Not much has changed in terms of rehabilitation and it still hurts to do many basic things. Someone suggested I should get a second opinion from another professional.
Does anyone have a sports injury rehab specialists they're very satisfied with and would recommend?
Thank you

Try and get into the Alvin McGavin Sports Physio centre. It's right downtown and you will not find better sports physio experts in Canada. https://www.allanmcgavinphysio.com/
Good physiotherapist in Vancouver, BC area? Hey,
I'm not sure of the optimal place to post this, but I thought I would put it here on the off-chance that there are any Vancouverites here that have sought the services of a physiotherapist that focuses on treating cyclists (or at least has decent experience with cyclists).
Any recommendations?
Cheers,
Matt

Best Physiotherapy in Vancouver? Hi there, I am currently nursing a re-occuring injury of my upper ribs, this time caused by a ski crash. I've been to a doctor to check if I had any fractures but she said that she thought i had separated a rib and caused some cartilage damage, but i feel like doctors never quite know what they're talking about regarding injuries, and I'm now looking to get some help from a physiotherapist. I'm new to vancouver and havent had to do this yet. Any recommendations for a good physio preferably with the specialized manipulation training?
Thanks r/vancouver
