NOT Lile Plumbing, if they still exist. I have a house built in 64 that, as far as I know, has original plumbing, including the hot water spigot in the tub that was leaking more and more. I knew the pipes were likely galvanized so I was afraid to wrench on it too much, so I called a plumber. Expected them to wrench it for 5 minutes, replace it, $100. I was okay with that.
He comes out of the bathroom with a FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLAR ESTIMATE that included replumbing the entire bathroom, including tearing out dryway to access it. Why? Because there's no way to replace those old hot water valves anymore, they just don't make them.
I post pictures of the thing on the internet, someone tells me it's a BOG STANDARD American valv you can get anywhere. Put a wrench here, and a wrench there, and turn this way while holding the primary wrench and pop it came right off. Lowes had it. Cost me $5.
