I looked up mechanics using the search bar but most of the results seemed to be on the other side of the city from me, I'd rather not need to spend $40 for an Uber round trip. I live in the Roeland Park area. I'm looking for a general mechanic that'll do oil changes and stuffs, as well as inspect my car to make sure it doesn't need any other maintenance as well.

  I've heard good things about The Import Shop in Merriam. They specialize in Honda. I've never been but I've called for a quote before and it was a lot cheaper (obvious) than dealership. http://www.importshopinc.com/ I've used Don Perdue for my Honda. Prior to opening his own shop, he worked for a Honda dealership for year. Don't let the outside fool you.
