We signed a contract back on Nov. 5 with them, they sent out the installer to meet with us and we thought it was all set. On Sat. we received a backdated letter that they as the contractor are exercising their right to cancel. They only have 30 days to cancel, and this decision wasn't communicated until day 35 (postmarked on day 33). They offered no real explanation or refund of our $3,000 down payment! Now it is too late in the season to find another roofer and we are stuck! I am so disgusted! Is there anything I can do besides contact the Better Business Bureau?
