  Difficulties finding a Dr/Psychiatrist: Recommendations appreciated I’ve been trying to find a new primary care doctor and psychiatrist for the last two weeks and it’s been almost impossible. I think I’ve called at least 10 different offices, not once got ahold of someone and left a voicemail but haven’t gotten any callbacks. It makes sense that everyone is so busy because of COVID but I feel like I’m getting no where Does anyone know of anyone that’s currently accepting new patients? I checked Seton Mind Institute and Seton Ascension and tried to get in touch with someone but no dice Any recommendations would be super helpful! I also looked through my insurance but half the time it said they were accepting new patients but when I called they weren’t so I don’t necessarily trust that is up to date I’d almost be willing to just shell out the money out of pocket so I can get the help I need

  I'm so sorry :( [Roots Behavioral Health](https://rootsbehavioralhealth.com/) should be accepting new patients if you don't mind seeing a PA instead of a psychiatrist - I've been seeing Lauren Feierstein for a while and she's fantastic. I've referred several friends to them during COVID and they've all said very positive things about their experience.
