  Needing a little help FREE - Fountain, CO (80817) Hi we are a family of 5 and needing help this year with Christmas. Does anyone know of any adopt a family programs or can help in any way? My husband is disabled so he can't work at this time. I do work but we are so far behind on bills, we are still trying to get caught up (with no luck). We have tried to ask family (they live out of state) for any help, but no one would help. I have older kid's and couldn't find anyone that helps out older kid's.   From one Floridian to another, be smart and do your own research. Half of the places mentioned are not licensed through the Health Department which means they are not up to safety standards. The only way to find out if a studio is licensed would be to contact El Paso County Health at (719) 578-3199. Licensing means that the studio passed an in depth inspection by the health department to ensure client and artist safety and that it acknowledges that a studio has been trained properly in cross contamination control procedures and that the county has deemed it safe for you to get tattooed there. It also means that the studio does not have major infractions that would be considered a public safety concern. It is required in the state of Colorado to operate only in a licensed facility and failure to obtain proper licensing can result in a $200 fine per day that they are operating outside of regulations.
