Anyone know how to get into a primary care physician around here? I've been to the ER twice with chest pain, breathing issues, sorest my throat is. I've been hacking up black stuff for months and I don't smoke. It's from a previous drug addiction (I stopped 3 years ago) and I've ignored it for years but now it's BAD.
After 2 ER visits. I felt the doctors dismissed me as they insisted "It could be allergy or anxiety. Try to stop doing drugs and see, ok?".
I saw an ENT this week(paid out of pocket) who looked at my charts and said I have high white blood cells indicating an infection. I have been on antibiotics for 4 days. I'm still in extreme discomfort. I'm not going to be able to talk much longer.
I've left messages and talked to 4-5 primary care physicians. No one can see me until August. 6 weeks at the earliest if I pay out of pocket which I am willing to in order to at least get a diagnosis.
