Affordable dentists for wisdom teeth removal? No dental coverage? Hi everyone,
My wisdom teeth have been starting to hurt lately. Not sure if this is also related, but my gums are now looking puffy. My mouth has been a bit uncomfortable for the past day or so.
I know that everyone says that dental is important and truth be told I have not seen the dentist for probably about five years. They said that my wisdom teeth were growing in, but were of no concern at the time. I'm assuming they've grown in now since they hurt.
Are there any affordable dentists in the Vancouver area for wisdom teeth removal? I do not have dental coverage, so will probably have to be paying directly out of pocket anyway. Thanks!

UBC, maybe? I don't know if any of the reduced cost clinics do wisdom teeth extractions. https://www.yourdentalhealth.ca/visiting-your-dentist/reduced-cost-clinics/

I had mine removed at Midmain dental in 2012 and they had a rate for uninsured ( I didn’t have coverage through my min wage job) that wasn’t too bad a few hundred dollars if I remember correctly. Nothing fancy just extraction and the basic freezing. The following few days were painful but it beat the crazy pain I was in for a year prior because I kept putting it off due to cost.
