  I have a question for anyone who has had to have surgery on their hound. Nitro has a perineal hernia as you can see in the attached photo. He needs surgery. I have received a quote from the London Emergency referral center and I am waiting on one from Guelph. I will then need to choose where we go. Does anyone have experience with either of these places that they care to share? I want the best care for my baby and I know our hounds are different when it comes to anesthesia so I want someone who is VERY greyhound savy.

  The best as far as greyhounds go is not in Ontario. Metzger Animal Hospital is about 5-6 hours in PA.
