Which local (non-air) B&B to stay in with great AC? We are coming to NOLA for our anniversary and look forward to all that this great city has to offer! I have read that locally-owned B&B's are the best place to stay to keep our dollars local, but we haven't seen too many recommendations.
We're looking for a place that's pretty close to the good stuff so we can walk there, but not super loud all night (we will probably be crashing around midnight or a bit before), and has REALLY good air conditioning, as we are not used to sleeping in the humid heat, and terrible sleep could be trip-ruining.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

If you are interested in unique hotels that feel homey, this one is beautiful [https://hotelpeterandpaul.com](https://hotelpeterandpaul.com) And if you are coming during the hottest time of year, plan your main activities early morning or late late afternoon and take a couple showers in the day! Or book a hotel with a fancy rooftop pool like Hotel Montelone for a night swim!
