  ISO: BMW / Mercedes Benz mechanic/know it all or at least knows a lot I'm in the marketing for a used BMW/MB and am looking for someone to go with me to take a look at a few that I've found so far. Anyone know of someone, a mechanic, a local auto shop that can help? Motorwerks of Barrington does a 'Buyers Inspection', but that requires that the car(s) be taken there which isn't really an option when buying from a private party. Kinda awkward~ Hey can I borrow the car you're selling and take it to Barrington for a buyers inspection? Don't worry I'll only be gone 5-6hrs since the inspection takes 3-4hrs. Seriously, who does that?! Much easier to say, 'this is my uncle bob who's come with me to take a look at the car'. ... just sayin'
