  Mixed-race curly hair help! My wife has been let down over and over again by numerous stylist. Does anyone know and or recommend a local stylist that is confident with mixed race curly hair? Her last stylist of numerous years told her during her last visit that “curly her intimidated him” and asked if he could straighten her hair in order to cut it. Never before said any of those things. Then proceeded to completely undo years of styling and growing and chopped most of it. In my eyes my wife always looks gorgeous, I hate seeing her confidence take a hit because someone rushed or wasn’t honest in their ability. Thanks Reddit fam!

I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t have curly hair themselves to cut my hair lol, and she truly is a godsend :) super passionate about helping people love their curls.
