td241 asked:BaaS for several disconnected sites? Can anyone recommend a backup service? I'm working for a company that has several sites, most of which were acquired one-by-one. There is no WAN or site to site connectivity at this time. There are about 30 sites and 70 servers, virtual and physical, ranging from windows 03-12. I need to backup these servers without any site-to-site connectivity and without any appliances at the sites (there are just too many sites) Can anyone recommend a BaaS provider for this? Essentially, each site needs to point to the internet to be backed up. This is a stopgap measure for the next year or so while we create a WAN, site-to-site connectivity, and refresh the servers for all these satellite offices. Hoping someone has been in a similar situation and can recommend something that worked out. thanks!
Rickatron replied:I like what some providers like ISG Technology (www.isgtech.com) there are a bunch of "ISG" out there. They will drop a box on your site, do full managed backups and set up full DR for you also. Further, if you loose everything at these sites, they can spit it up in their cloud. Basically outsourced awesome backup.
