Rebecca K. replied:I really admire the work at http://www.corset-story.com/ I have two of theirs - one underbust and a velvet overbust longline. Their boning holds up nicely. A simple white (or black) underbust corset will not be obvious under most clothing. Go to the Sale tab and you can get one for $50 right now. Hope this helps!

Check back with them often as they ALWAYS have sales. I always recommend steel boning because I have personally have had bad luck with plastic. It seems to work for other people, but it always warped on the first wear for me.
