  NEED ADVICE! Hey everyone! My momma dog has breast cancer and was told she’ll live another couple of years comfortably.. Unfortunately one of her tumors has begun to burst open. However the surgery quote we have been getting is $2,500 and up. Does anyone have any recommendations for vet clinics to do a tumor removal possibly on a payment plan or for less than the $2,500? I’m doing everything I can to help her because putting her down is just not an option. She is still so full of life and happiness.

My poor girl has mostly lost it mentally, she barely eats, she walks in weird slow circles, and now even goes potty in her kennel (which she has never done in the past 15 years) she wobbles severely when she walks and cannot find her way around anymore. I took her to a vet a few months back and they said it would be an arm and a leg to have her put to sleep. But her crying makes me so sad and I don't know where I can go for an affordable solution.   UPDATE: Simba went to a wonderful vet clinic in Scottsdale. Dr said his teeth weren't that bad at all and took him ten mins to clean them. Everything turned out great. Blood work and x rays were good as well. Highly recommend Scottsdale veterinary clinic. Sweetest staff and took great care of him. Any advice on cleaning my dogs teeth? He's gonna be two in July. Very picky eater so I started him on wet food and didn't notice how bad they got so fast.

  There is a lady in Guadalupe who takes abandoned dogs in off the streets. I coordinate free spay and neuter for the dogs as well as bring dog food to her monthly to assist with feeding. One of her dogs is in immediate need of medical care. She is on a fixed income and can't afford care. This dog is spayed and approximately 13 years old. Sorry for the graphic photo but it looks like a mammory tumor and she thinks it originated from a lower nipple. Does anyone know of a free or very low cost clinic for this pup?

  Semi-feral cat is noticeably losing weight. He's not eating/chewing his food right...tilting his head and messing with his tongue when eating, not crunching on dry food like he should. Took him to the vet and they couldn't even examine him. Said I have to come back under the assumption of a surgical dental and then they can really see what's up once he's under. Hoping for some nasty teeth needing to be extracted and nothing like cancer/growths in the mouth. We all know the regular vet is crazy expensive. Normal low cost clinics won't really do a procedure on him as far as I know (he's almost 12 so a higher risk surgery plus we're not actually positive what needs to be done yet). I've got a call into Dr Kelly's Mobile Surgical Vet but are there any other lower cost options for a cat in this position? I'm east valley but willing to travel a bit if west side gives me any viable options.

  Mobile vet by far most thourough and reasonable. My cat was misdiagnosed at low cost and ended up spending more and cleaning for nothing. She needed all teeth pulled due to auto immune. +16029095383 My gsd was done monday 250 inckuding extractions

  Does anyone know of a good full-service place vet in the East valley that is affordable for dental surgery? We tried one of those low cost places and though it was a good place, it didn't work out as they are limited in what they can do. I have a senior with a tooth infection in the very back of her mouth. She is now on antibiotics to help clear up the infection and we need to give the antibiotics a few days to start working before we take her in to have her dental surgery. An affordable full-service vet was recommended by the low-cost place, but when I called the other place, they required she be up-to-date on ALL her vaccinations and not just the rabies. I find this troubling as my choices are to either vaccinate her while she's already fighting a tooth infection now or wait until the day of surgery and they will do it that day and i don't think it is in her best interest, especially since she's a senior. Plus, vaccinating her any time between now and then isn't going to protect her until 2 weeks after the vaccination anyway. My dogs are on an every-other-year vaccine schedule and she's not due for another 6 months as we want to avoid over-vaccinating our pets. Not sure why the low-cost place would only require rabies while the full service vet requires everything?? Maybe there's another affordable place that only requires the rabies?
