  Cany anyone suggest a good oven repair technician in the Memphis/Germantown/Collierville area? Before we sink hundreds of dollars into a new oven, I'd like to see if our broken oven can be repaired, but I don't want to spend a fortune on an estimate.

You will NOT be disappointed.Tell him what you want and maybe over the phone he can tell about parts can be found etc. I will keep my fingers crossed for you as part supply on my 30 year old Therimadore are exhausted.So far oven works great but I am beginning to see problems with its cleaning.
