  Hi folks I am new to the area and I blew my truck when I was spinning my tires in the snow, I heard a pop come from the engine. Truck stopped and engine light is on now. I was wondering if anyone knows a mobile mechanic that isnt too costly that might be able to come out a diagnose it to tell me what im looking at. Its a 1986 Ford pickup. I am trying to get established out here and send for my family after Christmas so the timing on this is horrible. Its my only transportation to work so if anyone has any info for me I surely would appreciate it. Its up off of mt pleasant henry boyd area. Thank you P.S. You should be proud of the people in your community. Two different men stopped to help me and one pulled me home so I wouldn't have to pay for towing. Everyone I have met so far up here are the kindest people and I really love it here. So thank you.

  Help?❤️my niece visited this weekend and was about to head home. She filled her 2010 Toyota Camry with gas and as she was passing Walmart her gas pedal quit working. Are there any mechanics open/available today? Gotta get this girl back to Eugene for work and school tomorrow!! Thanks!   Moving to Sequim is finally getting real. When I lived in Sequim one of the places I worked at was Port Angeles Ford-Lincoln-Mercury in sales, warranty and as a personal assistant to the dealer. I know it no longer exists and the new Ford dealership is now Price Ford-Lincoln and moved east. I am a Ford woman, always have been. Since I am looking at raising goats and chickens and growing my own food, I think I need to buy a (used) truck. So...I could use some help. My questions are: Would it be better to buy my truck in Washington or buy one down here in California? Should I buy from a local dealer? If so, who would you suggest? Has anyone had any luck buying from a private party? And a mechanic, who would you recommend?
