He has worked personally on more then 50 projects of mine and does the best work of anyone else I've ever worked side by side with. He knows the code, and does anything from a light switch, to a gigantic commercial project. I highly recommend him to not only bring you to code, but make you safe. It's what I work with him the most on.

  Has anyone changed over their electrical panel to more modern dependable service panel? What does something like that cost ? Any recommendations for electrician?

  The cost can vary depending on how many circuits you currently have and what you may want to upgrade to for future use. You definitely want to pull permits so pg&e can come back and put the correct splices on their end. Also the new code requirement requires the panel to be a minimum of 4 feet away from the gas meter so that will add to the cost. Give Power Up electrical a call. Guys name is Danny. My tenants use extension cords to plug in multiple electronics, and one of the outlets began smoking. They've unplugged everything from that outlet but I would like to get it checked.
