  Jeff's Appliance Services Inc 11104 Cherry Hill Rd, Hyattsville, MD 20783 (301) 937-6003 Have used Jeff for at least 25 years. I know he does come out as far as Scaggsville. If he doesn't come out that far, he might be able to recommend some. He has told me when it is worth repairing, when it is not and even told me how to repair something myself. He doesn't sell appliances, so there is no advantage to him telling you to replace one.

  Alco or Jeff's Appliance Repair (they are the same family, different businesses). Jeff repairs our stuff; Alco (Jeff's brother) sold us our washing machine, cheaper than Sears. I believe I first called Alco and they recommended Jeff for repairs. 301-937-6003
