  Anybody know of restaurants above the 1st floor in downtown PDX? Similar to Portland City Grill, i.e. not on the ground floor of a taller building. I'm not looking for a restaurant with a view, just a change in scenery that is similar to a bigger city. There are great lists of the "best" restaurants around here, but nothing too off of the beaten path. For clarity, I know of "above street level" places like: - Portland City Grill - Noble Rot - Departure (cool place, service is ridiculously bad/pretentious) - Ringside Also, any other off of the beaten path places you guys like would be cool, too! Thanks! Edit: Thank you for the responses! I will definitely have to try these places out. I think u/simonpercy put it nicely; Portland may not be the right city for a concentrated list of "high-dining" establishments. Thanks, Predditors!

  Downtown. 30 th floor of the us bank tower. Google it! my profile pic is when I went there recently. It is a totally worth while experience.
