  Contractor Recommendations Anyone have any contractor recommendations? We have a 4 season room that needs to be ripped apart (roof stays but everything else needs to go). Really need someone reputable, since it's right on a creek and since this wasn't put up with permits when it was built 30ish years ago we want to know for sure what we're getting into. Cheers!

We are moving to the grand rapids area in the next month and wanted to get recommendations on inspectors. We do not believe in using the ones recommended by our real estate agent as there may be a conflict of interest in his/her recommendations. Our home will be an older home built in the 50's.   I would start with the Grand Rapids HBA. http://www.mygrhome.com/ Koetje is good and I've also heard great things about Baumann in Holland. Whatever you do, make sure you are comfortable and confident with the builder you choose.
