I adopted a 10 year old abandoned Bichon 2 years ago. She came to me with a bad back knee, completely shaved down and had bad ear infections and was recovering from severe kennel cough. I love my Mimi - she is the sweetest, smartest dog, and she is a survivor (survived a vicious attack by a neighbors dog).
Mimi can get around ok, she sort of trots with both back legs together. She cannot climb or jump. She still loves to go for walks with my other 2 rescue dogs. I was just wondering if anyone knows where I could get a good, heavy duty stroller for Mimi (she weighs 28lbs).? She still wants to walk, but can't always keep up with Bubba and Princess. My vet said that Mimi's kneecap is not attached, but she is used to it, and surgery would probably make it worse. I want to keep her walking, but not overdo, but she wants to be with Bubba and Princess when they go for walks.
