  This is kitchen light switch. The knob still clicks when I turn it but the lights won't turn on. Does anyone know if this needs an electrician or can I fix myself?

  Probably the switch, but that just happened to me and I installed the new switch and it didn't fix it so at that point I call the electrician. He found that a connection was loosened up in the attic making a gap in the circuit. I would have figured that out somewhere between several hours and never.
