  Dr Martin Velez with Atlanta Oral and Facial Surgery handled mine and it was great. I had 2 impactions but we went ahead and removed all 4 wisdom teeth. www.atlantaoralsurgery.com For what it's worth....this is a very routine and fairly simple surgery. Worst part was having gauze in my mouth for a few days. Pain was minimal and less than I had from the impaction itself.

  We have twice now used Dr Louis Belinfante in Dawsonville. He's awesome! http://www.atlantaoralsurgery.com/ Each insurance is different, so the copay & out of pocket costs will vary. "Most" dental plans cover 50% of oral surgery up to the plans annual maximum after the deductible (if you have one). However, some medical insurance will cover the cost since the teeth are impacted.

  I need a referral to a dentist/oral surgeon who knows how to work with a teenage girl (14) who has a jaw that keeps locking. It limits how far she can open her mouth when it is bad and I don't think she grinds her teeth at night. She may just need a night guard, but I want to work with a doctor that knows a lot about jaw issues or specializes in it. Any suggestions are welcome?
