  michele, it's always good to call a specialist, such as an oral surgeon or an endodontist and ask them who they would refer. they see the work and know who is a good clinician and who isn't. it also is nice to get confirmation on their personality from friends. i know manhattan endo is close by - might want to give them a shout and see what they have to say.
