Everybody knows that Dominican Republic is famous for its wonderful beaches of the Caribbean Sea and hospitality of local people. I also had a chance to see it in one of the most beautiful resorts of Dominican Republic, the Majestic Colonial. This resort isn’t far from Punta Cana airport; it takes only 30 minutes to get to the Majestic Colonial
At the Majestic Colonial, all the rooms are junior suites with Jacuzzi. They also will have Club Section adults only since December 2012 which will be located closer to the beach with additional services included if you would like as well.
One of the best aspects of the Majestic Colonial is the beach. The Majestic Colonial sits on a great stretch of the Bavaro Beach, recognized as one of the top ten beaches in the world! The water is amazing, and the sand is a soft sugary powder. The waves were a little bit high, but the weather during all these four days in October was remarkable. There are plenty of shaded palapas to lounge under and watch the Caribbean Sea. If you like to snorkel or scuba dive, you can always find a trip just for your soul not far from this resort!
