We had to do this a few years back and I really think doing it at home is 100% better than taking them to the vet and all the stress that comes with it. We used Dr. Veena at Angel Pet - https://www.angelvet.com She made sure to imprint our cat’s paw and she didn’t even disturb him from his sleeping spot. It was still so sad, but she was so gentle with him.
