  No if your system has a dehumidifying feature then it is not working correctly, if it is set to 40% then the thermostat should show 40% +- up to 2% if you set the thermostat to 75* F you should be within one degree +-... All thermostats are different in how they come on and turn off, meaning some will overshoot the temp you have it set for by a degree or two and some are dead on. If your system is under a year old hen the company should come out for free and look at it.. If not then all my company W.H. Oil & Gas 203-654-9710...
