  Trisha, it all depends on what you are trying to filter out. Some will do chlorine, but not fluoride, etc. I have heard the Berky's are great. My Mother had a whole-house reverse osmosis system installed down in Florida and loved it. There are cheaper solutions, I'm sure, but it's not cheap to get something that will take out the fluoride.   Q: My son is having issues with eczema - manageable with steroid cream and moogoo, but I am looking for a longer term solution. I recently tried soy-based formula and his skin has improved a bit but with more research into soy-based formula, I have decided to go back to feeding him cows milk-based formula. I am interested in seeing a pediatrician and live in Bray Park. Can anyone recommend a pediatrician? Or should I be seeing a pediatric dermatologist? What are other peoples experience with eczema and their bubs? I am currently managing it with foods specific to treating eczema, it is just the formula that remains an issue...   Get a bath and shower filter. If you own your own home, a whole house filtration system. Research purewatersystems.com.au on the Gold Coast located in Burleigh Heads. They have evidence on their website which shows that skin disorders are made worse by the chemicals (especially chlorine) in our water. People have noticed dramatic improvements in this since installing water purification. It is healthier all round.
