  Anything from www.excellenceinwriting.com is phenomenal (their spelling and writing curriculum are the best I have ever used for multiple grades). For the younger grades they have All about spelling and for grade 3 onward they have The Phonetic Zoo. It is a bit pricy compared to others, however worth every penny in my opinion. It is based on multiple learning styles and works wonders (especially in little boys who despise spelling)

  Gerilynn wonders: I'm planning on doing Abeka streamline with my kids (2nd, 5th and 8th). It doesn't seem as if 5th and 8th have any "literature/readers". Can anyone give me thoughts on this? If they do not have them---can you recommend a good literature/reading program for those grades? I don't want my kids to not have reading. Thanks so much!
