pls, I need help bad! as a mechanically-inept female owner of an '03 'northern cruiser' (I know, I know - I have no business owning a ural! ha), the new battery isn't holding charge. my very honest/trusted mechanic (who grew up in cuba and is familiar w/ urals) said the former owner did a hatchet job on the electrical system and that I really need a whole new custom-built harness but until then...he says:
the parasitic draw is .96 ml A and the diode ripple is .06.
max ampage output is 16 amps and max voltage is 14.7
he said alternator is bad bc parasitic draw is .96ml.
what do you guys think about these numbers? does it make any sense? is the parasitic draw ok? any info/opinions would be greatly appreciated - ty ty!
