Good grocery stores: -Sunny Farms (Sequim) -Country Aire (PA) Amazing local fancy romantic restaurant: -C'est Si Bon (French, in between PA/Sequim) Great local Breakfast/Lunch spots: -Oak Table (Sequim) -Chestnut Cottage (PA) -First Street Haven (PA) -Cafe Garden (PA) Mystery restaurant: -Dupuis (local place between PA and Sequim I've never been, but always been curious about and might be neat to check out for some local flavor/seafood) Good Asian food: -Sabai Thai (PA) -Sawadee Thai (Sequim) Fast Food: -Frugals (PA, beloved local burger drive-thru) -Fat Smitty's (burger place on way to Sequim from Seattle) Bars: -Next-Door Gastropub (PA, good beer, food) -Bar Hop (PA, good beer, pizza) Station 51 Tap House (PA, good for a beer) -Wine on the Waterfront (PA, wine bar with tasty small plates) Shopping: -Moss (PA, cool local clothing store downtown) -Port Book & News (PA, great bookstore downtown) -Swain's (PA, beloved local general store. Sells everything you need for outdoors/anything. DO NOT go to WalMart, go to Swain's) Hikes/Cool outdoor places to walk around: -Marymere Falls/Storm King/Lake Crescent (west of PA) -Hurricane Ridge (PA) -Hollywood Beach/Port Angeles pier/tower (downtown PA) -Dungeness Spit (Sequim) -Salt Creek (west of PA) -PA Fine Arts Center (cool indoor/outdoor art)

  I have family coming from Hawaii in a couple weeks. My question is this...can you recommend the BEST restaurants in our area? We are not formal people so looking for nice casual place but consideration is on the food. :) thanks in advance.

  Chestnut Cottage for breakfast or lunch is a must. We like Wildfire for nice dinners. You can eat out on the deck. http://www.ldswoodfiregrill.com/ The only other place we eat regularly is SoHo. We had a birthday dinner for our niece at Sabai Thai and it was delicious.
