  This is my boy Leo. He is a 6yo chow mix rescue (in desperate need of a haircut!) We just moved to Virginia beach from Seattle and Leo had his first trip to the beach this past Saturday. What are other fun places in the area to take dogs? Also can anyone recommend a good veterinarian? I loved his old one and I'm nervous about finding another good one that isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg. Thanks in advance! Hoping to make some new puppy friends!

  We just moved here with our dog a few months ago and had the same concerns about finding a good vet. I'm not sure what area you are in but we took our 5 year old to Virginia Beach Veterinarian Hospital on Pleasure House Road near Shore Drive. They are awesome and I'm happy that we found it. There are a few good dog parks down here too you should check out. Here's the link the the veterinarian website. http://vbvh.net
